Nothing records without you. Every recording starts with you clicking Record on that call, and the pulsing red indicator stays visible the whole time. You are responsible for complying with consent laws where you record.
Everything that enriches a profile stays yours. Recordings live as plain MP3s in a folder on your Mac. Emails are synced from Gmail read-only, and Earshot can never write anything there at all — it holds no permission to send, compose, alter, label, or delete your mail. Transcripts, notes, and the profiles built from them are stored in your account, encrypted in transit and at rest, never shared with other users, and never used to train AI models.
Delete means delete. Removing a recording, an email, a note, a person, or your account removes the underlying data everywhere — including everything synced from Gmail and everything Earshot inferred from it.
